I never imagined I'd be the type to get excited about bathroom decor, but here I am, gushing over a piece of sea lettuce like it's the crown jewels. This isn't your grandmother's floral wallpaper, mind you. It's a medium-sized ivory flower that's managed to escape the ocean and take up residence on my bathroom wall, looking suspiciously like it's plotting a takeover of the entire room. The best part? It's not even a real flower. It's an imitation, a fraudulent piece of flora that's somehow more charming than the real deal.
No need to worry about it wilting or attracting curious sea turtles to my toilet bowl. This aquatic artwork comes equipped with a keyhole on its backside, as if it might decide to make a break for it in the middle of the night. Wall hanging
Works on drywall, plaster, or wood panelling. Drive a small screw at a slight upward angle, leaving the head proud of the wall. Slide the keyhole slot on the back over the screw head, adjust to level. Sits flush — no visible hardware.
No stud? No problem. A drywall anchor rated for the weight works fine.
Displaying a collection
Lay everything out on the floor first. Start with your anchor piece, build outward. Keep 2–3 inches between each piece and aim for the centre of the whole arrangement to land around eye level. Use painter's tape on the wall to map positions before committing to any screws.
Table & shelf display: Equally beautiful propped on a shelf, mantle, or side table. Pair with books, candles, or a small pot.
