I've always been drawn to the unconventional, the quirky, and the unexpected when it comes to wall art decor. That's why, when I stumbled upon a ceramic flower so large and lifelike that it could have been plucked straight from a Dewberry bush, I knew I had to have it. This wasn't your average wall-mounted knickknack; it was a statement piece, a conversation starter, and a testament to the beauty of nature captured in ceramic form.
As I hung the vibrant, Camellia-like bloom above my bed, I couldn't help but feel a sense of whimsy and delight. Wall hanging
Works on drywall, plaster, or wood panelling. Drive a small screw at a slight upward angle, leaving the head proud of the wall. Slide the keyhole slot on the back over the screw head, adjust to level. Sits flush — no visible hardware.
No stud? No problem. A drywall anchor rated for the weight works fine.
Displaying a collection
Lay everything out on the floor first. Start with your anchor piece, build outward. Keep 2–3 inches between each piece and aim for the centre of the whole arrangement to land around eye level. Use painter's tape on the wall to map positions before committing to any screws.
Table & shelf display: Equally beautiful propped on a shelf, mantle, or side table. Pair with books, candles, or a small pot.
- Dust with a soft dry cloth or soft-bristled brush. Do not use wet cloths or liquid cleaners.
- Keep away from direct moisture, steam, and outdoor conditions. Indoor display only.
