Trade & Wholesale
Handmade ceramic wall flowers and vases for shops that don't stock what everyone else stocks.
Chive Ceramics supplies wholesale home decor to galleries, museum shops, garden centres, concept stores and independent retailers across the EU. Designed in Toronto since 2004, made by hand, and shipped to trade customers from Rotterdam, the Netherlands, with no duties within the EU.
We have never sold to big-box retailers. The pieces in the Kunsthal Rotterdam shop are the same pieces your customers will find on your wall — the standard does not change with the size of the order.

Frequently asked questions about our wholesale trade
Does Chive Ceramics sell wholesale in Europe?
Yes. Chive Ceramics supplies wholesale home decor — handmade ceramic wall flowers and vases — to galleries, museum shops, garden centres, concept stores and independent retailers in all 27 EU countries, shipped from Rotterdam with no duties. UK retailers order through chiveukwholesale.com and North American retailers through chivewholesale.com.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum order is €500 excluding VAT, direct or on Faire. Beyond that we don't prescribe quantities — most retailers build a wall across two or three collections, and we're happy to suggest a mix for your space if you email us with a photo of the wall.
How do I open a trade account?
Complete the registration form on this page with your company details and VAT number. We review applications within 3 working days; approved accounts log in to see trade prices and order in euros at checkout. Retailers in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg order direct; elsewhere in the EU you can also use our Faire EU storefront.
Can I order Chive on Faire?
Yes, in most of the EU. Chive Ceramics is on Faire EU at chiveeu.faire.com, stocked from the same Rotterdam warehouse, and Faire's own payment terms apply to orders placed there. Faire EU is not available for France, Belgium, the Netherlands or Luxembourg — retailers in those four countries open a direct trade account on this page.
Do trade prices include VAT?
No. Trade prices exclude VAT. Chive Ceramics is incorporated in the Netherlands and follows standard EU VAT rules: Dutch VAT is added at invoice for Dutch buyers, and EU buyers outside the Netherlands with a valid VAT number are invoiced under the reverse-charge mechanism.
How quickly do trade orders ship?
Trade orders dispatch from Rotterdam within one to three working days and deliver within 2–5 days across the EU. Everything on chiveceramics.com is held in the Netherlands; nothing ships to EU trade customers from Canada. Backorders on sold-out designs are filled from new firings, which arrive roughly every two months.
Do you supply museum shops and galleries?
Yes — they are the core of the trade list. In Europe, Chive is stocked at the Keramiekmuseum Princessehof, the Kunsthal Rotterdam, Singer Laren, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs boutique and the Danish Architecture Center, among others on our European stockists page. Worldwide the flowers are in 200+ art galleries and botanical gardens. We have never sold to big-box retailers.
Which trade shows does Chive exhibit at?
Exhibiting at Maison & Objet Paris since 2024. Exhibited at Ambiente Frankfurt, 2026. For the garden trade, exhibiting at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show since 2013; twice awarded the 5-star booth award — only two are given each year. Awarded a 4-star booth award at the 2026 show. Dates are posted here each season, and buyers can book a stand appointment by email through the contact page.
